Side Dishes with Barbecue

I bet you’ll be throwing a fabulous backyard party or going to one. Either way, it will involve lots of food.

But it’s not just the Fourth of July weekend that’s filled with cookouts and backyard parties. Many people grill every weekend, and some, every day. I can’t tell you how many amazing smells I run by just about every evening while I jog. All the yummy, smoky smells make it hard for me to work out when I want to run straight home and fire up the grill.

So many people take advantage of their grills in the summer that I put together a nice collection of side dishes that would go perfectly with all the grilled goodies. There are plenty of pasta and potato salads here but also lots of vegetable salads worth a try.
