BBQ food items list
Memorial Day – observed annually on the last Monday of May to honor those who have given their lives while serving as a member of the United States military. As such, many often choose to celebrate by hosting a Memorial Day BBQ (which also often doubles as their first BBQ of the “unofficial” summer season).
That being said, do your weekend plans include a BBQ at some point? If you’ll be hosting one, you can bet that guests are most looking forward to the food – especially if it’s the first BBQ they are attending since the weather has started to improve. To help ensure that your party is a hit, we’ve put together a list of food items that must be on your menu for this year’s Memorial Day BBQ; check it out below:
-
- Hot dogs
- Chicken fingers
- Grilled chicken
- Ribs
- French fries
- Corn on the cob
- Chips and dips
- Potato salad
- Macaroni salad
Whether your BBQ is just for adults or will be a mix of adults and children, any item on the above list is sure to be well received by your guests – that’s why we recommend using it as a checklist when you head out to the grocery store to prepare! Once you have all of the ingredients, well – then it’s really time to get cooking. Check out this article from All Recipes for a list of Memorial Day BBQ dishes that you can consider for your party.
